ITALIAN CULTURE

Italian culture, particularly food, music, language, religion, family, and celebrating festivities together as a community are all important values held by the Italian people. These values are important to providing and delivering quality aged care services to older Italian migrants.

As the Italian Day Centre has grown people from a diverse range of backgrounds have joined us. These clients include Indigenous Australians, people with disabilities, people with mental illnesses, and people from a range of cultures and languages. They bring their own diverse experiences to our programs while enjoying authentic Italian culture and cuisine.
